C MUTATIONS
It wasn't until the sixties that the religious void in my family was suddenly filled. One by one my aunts and uncles, my mother and father, and my Gramma, became Bahai's, a new world religion that was started in 1844. It taught that all men and women are equal, that all races are equal, that all religions come from the same source (although they only count the top ten religions in there). As a child I was convinced.
But when I became a teenager I that I was unable to embrace a wholesale program; it just couldn't cover all of my needs; and I wasn't prepared to bend my beliefs to match it's.
One thing the faith always taught was "the independent investigation of truth"; no blind faith allowed.
And so I left, to independently investigate truth, formulating my own belief system, an evolutionary synthesis drawn from many sources.
SCARED SACRED is a continuation of that investigation.
